Maybe it's kind of late for it but I'll post it here in case you still need help. If you use Sony Vegas,The "black frame" is sometimes caused by the rendering options, if that is the case, you can try rendering in a different format or also you might want to check the resolution in your Project Video Properties. If it's already like that when you import the clips, then it's caused by the camera, then use "Event Pan/Crop". Hope it helps!
